To St Petersburg in Russia? I'm flying there tomorrow to conduct research for an article I'm writing but will have a lot of free time to kill. Anything to do? Places to go?

I will, I just check forums I'm connected with as experience has taught me the best gems are often off the beaten path, and suggested by people and not marketing schemes.

I been there many times.
The winter and summer palaces is a great place.

I was there last in 1975, sorry prob can't help much. The summer palace was cool, don't know if it's in that city.
