Hi guys, I decided quitting this game.
I've been playing this game since October and I think now it's the perfect moment to stop doing it. I just wanted to say I've had lots of fun in this time.
I use to hate mafia games but I decided giving TW a try because of the "geo"/gps factor. As a developer, playing this game and other apps like using foursquare/gowalla was a nice chance to know what was coming to the iPhone.
I fall in to the trap though. I spent more than the one or two daily minutes I planned and I found myself doing missions and levelling up, adding mob codes, capturing… I ended up owing most of London. Fun times. I was tempted of stop playing this game but then Tyresius came to London with his unlimited army and the game became funny again. After that, there's been wars, truces and all sorts of alliances. When I was about to leave the game it became funny again when vendettas went live.

It was exciting how two weeks ago more than 21 people decided fighting Tyresius in 7 vendettas and reduced his turf and influence by more than 50% in a few days. It was fun, and it was amazing from a social point of view.
But way before that, there were other wars, alliances and funny moments. Some with people who left quite a while ago like lolray, brandobas… ahhh, it's definitely my turn now. I could go on playing for months and getting excited with the new tricks Nick will add. In London Tyresius is far from being dead but after Nick's (smart) move people could mob up fast and continue London's war forever. More mobbing up, alliances, captures… that takes a lot of time, just like any other game.
The worst thing about this kind of games is that it doesn't matter what you do, it's all about time and money. I decided playing this game spending no money (sorry Nick, I would do it now if I wasn't quitting) but I've seen how even if you spent loads of money you still need lots of time.

After thinking a lot I decided I prefer spending my time creating games instead of playing them. Or maybe creating other kinds of software. Whatever I do… it'll be easier once I quit this game. It's too time consuming (and I mean it in a positive way).
In all this time, I've met lots of people some of which I could almost call friends. Guys who were even before I started, some other who left in the last months… all my folks in the vendettas who were just amazing and even Tyresius and Nigga who made this game interesting.
Thanks to everyone and I hope you continue playing this game for as long as you enjoy it.
I am pretty sure you'll have new wars, or you'll ally against some crazy new player… but whatever you do.

Been a pleasure m, I think you were the first to capture any of my turf. I remember being quite annoyed at the time lol , now a single turf doesn't seem so important. I guess that comes from having spare cash to hand.
