Isn't it sad how during our time we had to fight our battles on our own. Didn't matter what size difference it was we knew if someone was cappin us or set up next to us to MOVE... Where did all that common sense go? The newer generation has too much going for them they have giant mobsters willin to teach them yet they blow them off n then cry at the first sign of trouble. I think it's sad that the first war isn't an initiation anymore. Before we had to fight to stay now there's ppl gettin others to fight for them. Granted there's some ppl thatshoukd be dealt with but there's others that are just a waist of thread space and a even more waist of time to read. I think it's wise to say Nick should put as a requirement for Vs that you need at least a mob of 2k to be apart of one.
-
Cuz it seems these new players focus on level (idk how they get that idea when it's obvious that your mob is the one doing the fighting not the levels) idk but anyways I think that the newly wave of players is causing a mess of things. We used to be a well organized family on a military base now there's a bunch of fresh meat going about n making a wreck of things sending us out of order n seeing to catch our attention to pull us to the side for somethin minor and meaningless
-
I say Vets should put, not a strike, but a basic walk out on the Vendetta forums. Let the noobs fight amoungst themselves n reward the winners with alot of hazing
or we should just haze them all n teach them with tough love not to care about the little things. Push them over the limit to figure out how to come back on their own. No more of this cradling shit. we need to pull out the yard stick n whip these new students into shape. -
What makes you think you're a vet mr 5k mob?

Well said, I'm getting sick of people starting a V cos the other player is a higher lvl, even though they have similar mob sizes. Why do they believe that the lvl matters? They make no effort to mob up and don't even equip the mob they do have. I just attack them for a laugh to see how many of them V me 😜

i remember i didnt like the V when they first came out. Granted i didnt quite understand the need for them in the first place, but still even after I was explained what it does I still didn't like the idea. Sure it's cool but you need to learn how to fight your own battles from time to time. I've had problems I couldn't get anyone else into. Most of my battles I try to keep ppl out cuz it's faster on my own. I don't have to rely on anyone and I can watch the map more closely instead of being worried about someone else's turfs as well.
I blame Call of Duty
in that game it's all about levels and most players in this game play that as well so they probably start off with the concept that it's about levels and attack and defence. -
Best ask some old schoolers!
-
Yup. Either that or at least read the sticky first. Nick should make it so new players entering a new forum HAVE to read the stickys first.
-
I didn't get the mob I have to be in a V with a bunch of 500 mobbed members.....
-
I've been on forums where you weren't given posting permissions on the main until you read the FAQ post and replied "I have read and understand these rules." granted I'm sure plenty people just lied, but it still fished out people who weren't even willing to understand that rule. Thus they could not post :D
-
I have seen the names newbies call you just for building a turf near them to help build their income.
Can you imagine the barrage the new words and phrases we'd get to learn if they had to prove
1. They could read
2. Thy had to pass the sticky test before they could post the v threadI think it's an awesome idea
-
This thread should be a sticky 😜 just cuz im tired of telling ppl to mob up and seeing other vets waste thier time doing the same
-
Need this at the top

The game was much simpler then, I have been playing off and on for a year and a half (different phones). People that start the game now have much more to learn than you did. The learning curve, therefore, is much more pronounced than when you started. As you stated you got to learn the fame before vendettas, not to mention the added weapons and loot that confuse things. I have enjoyed the add ons but to a new person they make the game that much harder to learn. Also remember that many people that play are very young. You can't be so pretentious as to say every 10 year old must use proper grammar and reading comprehension or they will be banned. Learn some patience, some self awareness and try to see the big picture.
-
And it is not common sense that your mob consists of codes you can type in. Nor does it make sense that adding a mob member with 10 mob members and adding a mob member with 30000 mob members enefits you the same. These are odd quirks of the game that common sense does not help. Let people learn the game. If you are tired of it and cannot have the patience to offer constructive advice without sarcasm then the game and get on with your life
-
*delete the game

As for a sticky?! If this. Becomes a sticky I will quit the game. There is already too much cronyism in this game; old players defend old players to no end and make fun of people trying to learn the game. Older players sen new players to the ER or level their turf to prove a "point" when the new players are trying to ask for help, but fail to read the sticky or misspell or misinterpret the game rules.
-
And "I blame call of duty"? Every game or real life situation I can think of, getting to a higher level is a good thing and considered progress. Save for this game. Job promotion, military, any video game, sports, etc. this game is the quirky one where level means nearly nothing except recharging a couple things.
-
Nobody is forcing you to join a vendetta, or to even read any vendetta recruitment postings. The vendetta is a good tool for helping people or having fun in this game. It also reflects a mob activity , which this game is based on emulating.
-
As for a 2k mob requirement that you suggested, most bullying happens before you get to two thousand, and usually you dont quite understand the game until after 2000 so before that is when you need help the most. Again, I have been playing off and on for over a year and a half with different phones/accounts so I am not a typical new kid on the block but not a veteran either
-
Maybe there should be a seperate vendetta forum for
0-5k mob
5-10k mob
10+ k mob -

This game is quite simple compared to some of the games out there. Also new players can refer to the help section of the game, the help forum and the wiki. All 3 are excellent sources of information for the new player. All they have to do is take a few minutes to have a look. When new players are too stupid/lazy to help themselves is when vets get annoyed.
As for spelling/grammar; players can't expect help if you need an interpreter to work out what they've written. It's common courtesy.

This game is not simple. It is certainly learnable , but not simple. I'm all for spelling, for following instructions, for reading, just not destroying someone's chance to play the game just to prove a point. This is an attacking game, and bullying is fine as long as there are ways such as the vendetta for people to fight bullies in return
