Why another new family?

I see a lot of people starting a new family, quite often remaining the only member or having only a few after weeks.

Why do people do this, instead of finding an existing one to their liking? Anyone here who can shed some light ?

I understand why they would want to leave. Players get stuck in a Family that seems fun on the outside but is full of torture rituals on the inside.

Should’ve read the damn fine print.
