A V is a declaration of war, many players take them seriously. And just pulling down the V won't necessarily satisfy them.
Oh and disparaging the game, well some just figure you're not enjoying it and will go out of their way to show you the door.

I don't think the money in the bank really matters for much. I have billions in the bank dont mean squat. It's all about mob size and "alliances"!
There is no game to play as a medium player. My feeling is most people either start and quit rather quickly, maybe building a small mob under 5k, or they spend a ton of time and energy amassing a large mob.
Once you have a large mob the only thing to do is attack people. Then you realize it's big mob against big mob, time to punt. Meantime we can mop up all the small-medium guys whenever we want. Then whine about it. Makes the game interesting for them, and since they are so much more invested thats a good thing.
Look you have all created the rules of engagement, they grew out of necessity. I just think its interesting that a guy that has more mob, influence and money needs a bunch of help from "super punchers" to handle his business.
