It's good advice, also melee and armour. 1 each for each mob member.

Only buy non-upkeep at this stage so it doesn't affect your income.

Don't buy defensive turf upgrades they aren't worth the upkeep.

Don't spend skill points on energy, and don't spend skill points on attack or defence.

Increase stamina for better fighting capabilities, and mob up. Equip your mob with non-upkeep weapons until you can afford them.

Grenades and Kevlar vests give good attack and defence. Also equip all mob members with cleaving knives.

Personally I prefer the Galesi for defence.
