getting destroyed by waaay bigger player
Forums › Families & Vendettas › getting destroyed by waaay bigger player-
Been targeted by a vendetta that's recruited at least one player that's six times my size. Could use a little help, the guy took 12 of my turf in two minutes. I live in DC, get capped on the regular anyway, but I can't punch code fast enough to add 15,000 mob this week. Any advice or help's appreciated, I've already stashed my loot far away.
-
The vendetta was in response to me capping 3 turf for loot. I've got 3500 mob now, been punching code and up 1500 just in the last week, but like I said, I can't catch up to 18,000. A counter-vendetta on GoldenEye may help, if anyone here's got anything like that level of mob.

Golden says they've been warning you to stop capping small fry and tearing their turf down. Why didn't you listen?
-
The player that established the V asked you to stop. You did not. He then asked me to assist. So, yes, I did cap you. Then the player asked you to stop again and you recounted with capping more of his turf. You have capped more than three. I know I capped back four of his alone and your profile has at least three more. You are capping and tearing down.
There is an end to this. Plain and simple. Stop capping the member and the V may be disbanded.
I help a lot of smaller players. I do not generally get involved unless it is apparent someone is being treated unfairly.
-
First of all, I didn't get a warning, I capped three turf and next thing I knew a player whom I'd never attacked took 12 of my turf in three minutes. Second, I only took the turf for loot, I wasn't capping punitively. And lastly, this is a player who cried bloody murder when I capped two of his turf last week, and went around telling everyone I took ten of his turf in two days, which is bullshit. RockCandy dropped out of the vendetta when he realized this was nonsense.
-
So you think I don't know how many of my turf got capped...?! Plus you tore some down to make it look like you capped less. I've only been capped by 3 people, which were Mystery, Johnny Jackass and Golden Eye. Mystery and Golden Eye only capped the amount that I surpassed them in an area that made me capo. Johnny Jackass only capped a turf of mine that had 138 influence which was understandable and he then examined to me why after I asked. You sir, have capped me excessively and for no good reason, the first time maybe, I had loot there, the other times no...

When a player has 175 energy and 4 stamina I know he's not here to fight and expects other, better equipped players, to do his dirty work for him. If that's the way you choose to play then get used to being a victim.
-
Nonsense. I didn't want or need any of your turf, I generally only cap for loot. And you whined like a little bitch when I did it last week, too. Whatever. Cap all you want, I'll build it again. And watch your back, cuz others will get sick of doing your dirty work for you. Try punching some code and build your stamina.
-
I'll make a deal with you Brony. I'll tear down all the turf I have in that area, you keep what you've capped, we go our separate ways and I disband the V. No deviation from the deal. This isn't about turf, it's about respect and fair treatment. In this game (world) whatever it is to you, you make friends, not enemies...
-
The player who established the V didn't ask me to stop, GoldenEye. He cried when I capped his loot last week, and yesterday all I heard was "prepare ta get blasted" before you capped me. Feeling powerless, I capped back (mind you, he still hadn't asked me to stop), and he established a V so I couldn't do that either. I'm kicking back now, you go crazy if you want capping my turf. He wants to tax me, he can expect to get the cap. Check your sources.
-
Taxing you? You didn't even have turf in that area, you were hopping! I also asked why you were doing it and you said, "BC it happens to me" I asked you to stop, you said, "fuck that". Then you tell me, "your friends think you're a pu$$y" and yea you wrote it with the dollar symbols. I never make things up, I only ask others for advice when I don't know what to do. Do you accept the deal or not?

Idk I figured it would be common sense that in turf "wars" the ability to attack others is a must :/ just me though.Ojibwe wrote:

Alright. Seems like FreeMason took all the rest of my available turf in the last ten minutes, anyway, ha ha. I hopped to cap your turf yesterday, but I found out about you because you were taxing me. You can keep your turf, I ain't asking you to tear down anything of yours.

Some new players think that running missions is more important than Stam. At any rate, we all learn.
-
Yeah, I learned pretty fast that it's not about leveling up, it's about getting mobbed up.
-
Ok well, I'll try to stay away from your turf. So do we have a deal then? If you say yes, I'll disband the V
-
Sounds like a plan. Yes it is.
-
The V has been disbanded

Cool. And it's the first time I've seen the word "punitively" used in the forum. That's really nice.

I stacked energy when I started. Spent dp on energy refills too. Thought level and how much cash you had was what was important. Noob mistakes. We all make them. Some worse than others. Bound to happen when TW has such a steep learning curve. Hard for little guys to get started now.GoldenEye ∴ wrote:

It's a shame to see that whole Help & Strategy forum section go to waste.
-
Leave loot out? Expect to lose it. Cry like a bitch about it, expect to lose some more. Simple really.
-
Onward and upward. It's not like I don't get the cap all the time, too. Leaving your loot out is a calculated risk, especially in a dense place like DC. That's why I've got the majority of it elsewhere, where it can draw (less) dough but I can keep it.
