Maybe he lost his hands in a tragic chainsaw accident while making an ice sculpture for the pool party he was catering while trying to work himself through barber school in the Cayman Islands so he could get a good job to pay for his mothers rehab for her addiction to cough medicine and he now has hooks for hands.

You didn't even ask. Wouldn't you feel foolish if that were the case? Not very easy to wipe with hook hands.
