This is one of those cases where the tags of a player are useful. Even if you don't pay any attention to alliances, being from Houston you had to have noticed several other players with the same tags in Houston. If that didn't clue you in, do a mob search for those tags.

Anyone considering this offer should realize that you'd potentially be going up against that alliance, assuming the alliance chose to step in. (Idk how they work & I can't speak for them, but Idk of any alliance that won't come to the aid of a member if the member needs/wants it.)
