My best friends dad and my baseball coach for the last 3 years just died of liver cancer. He will be missed.

Uncle- testicular- won at the age of 22, has lived, so far, 80 years
Grandfather-thyroid and lung- won both when he was in his 30's, died of old age
Grandmother-breast-lost before my parents wedding
Neighbor-breast-won with heavy treatment
My favorite English Teacher from high school- testicular- winning
My principal when I was in elementary school- lost when I was in 8th grade
Friend from college- lung- just found out, but it's a losing battleI have seen this thread before, my friend was just told he had cancer, and it was pretty far gone. I got really upset, he is only 22, just over a quarter of his life has been lived and he only has 6-12 months with a 10% survival possibility.

Just found out my mom has stage four colon cancer that has spread to many other organs. I've been busy as fack and this has consumed a lot of my free time. I love you guys....

I know I'm late but I will help fight cancer in turf wars and in real life. I don't bring much to turf wars and haven't ha any personal losses but I have seen what it can do so my goal in life is to become an oncologist(cancer doctor) to treat and hopefully cure the foul beast called cancer

Mom is back on the hospital with an infection. The doctors are "treating" her cancer with no intention of curing it. It really kills me to watch my mom being turned into a lab rat when there are cures available. Fuck you big pharmacy!! Keep poisoning people with your GMO's and heavy metals just so you can make a buck.

32 years ago, 7% chance of survival. I kicked the living fuck outta cancer as the chemo kicked the fuck outta me. The odds may suck ass and seem daunting and insurmountable at times but with the right care, mental fortitude and will to survive, it can be achieved.
Cancer is just an obstacle. No different than the ugly chic cock blocking you from the smoking hot friend. Treat cancer the same way you would the fag chic. Kick it in the piss flaps, push it to the side & get on with the real business at hand. -
My grandfather, one of the men I look up to most out of everyone I know, and someone that has done countless things for the state of Iowa and it's continued structural integrity of bridges and other large road construction, among many other things, has been diagnosed with a (early) lymphoma. As of a few weeks ago he finished his first treatments and he said he feels better, but it hasn't regressed at all yet. My family has kicked cancer's ass before and it will again. It's a scary time though, and being hours and hours away I can't just up and see him. It fucking sucks bus. I can definitely sympathize.

We called in hospice today. Mom is showing all the signs. I'm glad that we had the chance to say goodbye and time to prepare For what is about to happen.....
