Requesting assistance for a defensive vendetta.
I have five simultaneous vendettas running against me, all coordinated by the same source. These five follow on the expiration of a single vendetta, same crew. Multiple other players are supporting the vendettas, I count 22 right now so available geography is wide open if volunteers choose to go offensive. Opponent attack strength ranges from 2k to 40.2k mob. I’m at 17.1k.
Ignition point: I capped about 12 turf on the Gulf coast of Florida over 8 weeks. Most were in pursuit of Don Davido, who wiped me off the game while I was a noob, and who turned up in FL capping 6 of my turf. No warning, no reason, just because he could. Conflict arose when another player complained about my capping 3 of his turf. I was warned off and didn’t take any more, but apparently some kind of promise to kneel down was being demanded of me. Not happening.

Possibility of negotiated settlement: about the same as that snowball’s chance in the hot place.
Current status: I’ve had 82% of my turf capped or destroyed over the past 9 days, 322 turf with the count continuing to climb.
Volunteer support could be divisive, the offensive team has fans and allies, but if you’re getting a bit bored, there’ll be some excitement in it for you. Opportunities for loot and experience abound!

You are quite welcome! I wouldn't want there to be any confusion as to why I'm involved in your destruction. You rampantly cap noobs and inactives and then try to purchase mercenaries with iTunes cards when you are getting capped. 17k mob and you thrive on capping 3k mobsters. I tried to give you advice. I tried to warn you. What you are doing is unethical and it is frowned upon in this community. If you are looking to make allies in this game, you are going the wrong way about it!!

Respectfully, I hotly deny your claim “rampantly cap noobs and inactives”. An unsupported statement like that is just the equivalent of throwing flaming monkey poo. Examples lend credence. I’ve tried to apply context sensitivity when capping turf because civility holds value for me. Your advice, I didn’t know who you were before the vendettas and have never had any communication from you that I’m aware of. I would most likely respond to a warning.Yes, I’m at 17k now, but that wasn’t the case not long ago. Don Davido capped me in FL on Feb 14 2012 when he was at about 14k, so I was well under that.
On the other thing, I’ve posted my response elsewhere; to comment further would be redundant. I’d be willing to develop a Turfwarswiki page on the concept if people want to discuss their views under General Discussion.

As far as the wiki question, it just depends. If enough people want to hash out whatever & you want a record of it, it's a good place to do it. I'd say give the page the name of whatever this war is & put it under battles. Things can always be cleaned up later.
Btw, in my time playing, I haven't heard of anyone following through on paying with iTunes cards. If that is a real offer, I recommend to anyone accepting to ask for 1/2 up front.

On cacti - I think I've been experiencing that sensation since the vendettas began, just wasn't able to put a name to it until now! lol :-)
btw, I can't fault anyone here for sticking to their loyalties and standing on their values as they see them.

You could easily have taken the capo back over a long span of time, you’ve always outgunned me. There were periods where I was absent from the game. I used to reach out to you when I was getting close. When you stopped responding, I honestly believed you had become indifferent to holding capo. Nevertheless, you were a good neighbor for years. No grudge on my part.As a side note on being absent, there’s a gamut of life events that push TW down the priority list to the point of irrelevance. When someone says “you’ve been gone for x months, then you show up” … yeah well. There might be a good reason for it.

Are you telling me it's considered unethical to entice people (with gift cards) in to war ?? Thought it would be considered more like 'temporary' henchmen ?
If being honest would admit I have ..... Considered the idea😳 - sure most of u aware of how frustrating it can be waiting for a v members Stam to refil and if u could speed that up, would u?
And would definitely be tempted if someone offered 😜
