I have a question about airports and was directed to the gurus for advice. I had placed one turf at Atlanta airport, waited for my ticket and placed another at Honolulu. My Atlanta turf was capped by Chopper Gunner(10,000 mob, Lapua, body armor and shoes). My Honolulu turf was capped today by Soprano(5300 mob, Lapua, body armor and shoes). I have a small mob 4800, armed with Lapua,mini guns, ak's, body armor and shoes. I just want to hear what is the proper etiquette for airports.
I wrote to doc Xray ( he had a turf next to mine in Honolulu) and he directed me to you. His reply was-"at Honolulu airport? That's a safe zone - no capping! If you got capped there, you should talk to Mystery or Attrition or Mojo about that - they may choose to kick soprano out of Hawaii altogether"
So I present my case to you.

How much time between you dropping the turf and it getting capped? I am curious. One time I got a 1 inf turf capped almost instantly, before I could upgrade it.

The Atlanta turf was capped right after I got my ticket to Honolulu. The Honolulu turf lasted about a month. What sucks is that I actually had defenses on it right up to the day before it got capped. I was paranoid after the Atlanta turf fell so fast. I had just removed them from the turf to increase my income and poof, the turf got capped. I needed the extra cash at the time to rebuild my Evans, Ga turf. We had a crazy mobster (Addi) in our area for the Masters golf tourney. He was taking turf left and right. He pretty much just roughed everyone up and took any turf that was above an 86.

To mr zigler- both turf were at 86 .

Some of the airport city cappers are hard core. I've had 84 inf turfs capped from an airport city within days. There are 30 to 50k and up mob players who have NO mercy at airport cities. One month at yor mob size is a good run at an airport.

San Antonio airport sucks!!!!!! You cannot get in and if you manage to they cap you right away!

To me, turf is turf no matter where it is at. I don't discriminate when I cap. I try to make it a point to not cap a player out of the airport but if they are dumb enough to only have one turf at the location and I grab it, so be it.
My advice, leave two or three turf at an airport and then hop ten to twelve jumps away from the airport. Everytime you lose an airport turf, replace it.

Sorry buddy, I'm no holds bar in airports. I try to look to make sure I don't cap people out of a city but not always. If your gonna fly hop away instantly. Also mob up.

Never just place one turf in an airport. Put down a bunch. Then put some outside the airport in case your airport ones get capped. If I can't get at least a few turfs in an airport I don't go.

All good advice but I would particularly listen to Mason. Once you've dropped a few turf at an airport, hop away a few miles to a quiet zone and drop a couple more. Also, once you've landed, hop the hell out and leave a couple nearby in case you want to hop back. Turf at an airport IS gonna get hit. I learnt this the hard way😢

I normally try to get away from the airports but normally those are the ones gone first but when I was at sea/tac I had 10 turfs 3 were 1inf and all got taken in 3 minutes lol that was horrible

The simple answer to your question is: It is your own responsibility to keep turf in airports.
You should expect to be capped in dense populations. Create 3-4 turf spread out across the airport. Create another 2-3 nearby, but outside the airport so in case something crazy would happen you could hop back to the airport to use your ticket.

When I cap a turf I do not check to see that if it is only one the player has there. I lose turf at airports all the time that's why you keep spreading out.

My strategy for airports is lace a buncha turf, then hop like hell to the nearest suburb till your newcomer weakness wears off.
