There are less unicorns today than white rhinos.... Fact. They're hunted for their horns to make aphrodisiacs. Make lousy rugs though due to said horn.

My old neighbour says that he remembers when people used to race unicorns and that they were quite wild spirited and their meat was rather tough.That was over 37 years ago!!! He hasn't seen nor tasted one since then. But I did hear that in certain parts of world they still run wildly strutting their horns of marfil and even appear on menus...:( which makes me sad.

I tried Kudu in South Africa, is that related? It was quite peppery.

I'm not qualified to say but cyclops meat is quite tough.Its head boiled with vege makes a tasty broth though.I remember my first tasting and was put off by the head turning towards me in the pot but soon got over that after sampling its jellied brains.

That is nice, I like mine with a bit of chilli to add a bit if heat otherwise I find it a little earthy.
