Can the forum have your permission to post the following on stupid v threads?:

If you want help you need to add more info to your thread in the V forum.

1. Target including details on mob size and location.
2. History of what has occurred that is resulting in this V.
3. Detail of any attempts at diplomacy.
4. Detail what your losses are.
5. Ensure all members of your V have turf within range (1,000 miles) for attacks and defence.
6. Be polite to anybody enquiring about details. They just might help you.

Note: mob attacks or being taxed are not generally considered reasonable excuses for a V. Neither is the loss of a couple of turf.

In case you were unsure, he isn't God. As for the list, it is suggested that these things be posted when asking for help but it is not required. Lately it seems as though if a player leaves out one of these precious pieces of information, they are quickly dismissed and written off.

I think many of you forget that when you started playing, you did not understand all of the unspoken rules. What truly burns me is when players post things similar to this list when all they are doing is basically getting their 2 minutes of Forum Fame when in all reality, you never had any intention of helping the player in the first place.

Sure. I'm back at work so not on quite as much. Happy to share. :)

Please note I also actually pm the message on their wall (privately).

If they PM you information, be kind enough to answer and direct them in what may be an appropriate way to proceed if a V is not it.

Additionally, I don't investigate, I don't take sides (unless one is clearly being a dick) I just try and advise how someone can extract themselves from their predicament.
