Need help in the north east

3-4 days ago One of my turf was captured. I thought nothing of it. The next day another was taken by the same player. After the 3rd I sent a private message saying "dude, what is your problem??? That's 3 turf in less than 2 days!" to which he replied "I don't see a problem with it unless you want to make it a problem". I ignored that one until yet another turf was taken. So, again I sent him a private message that said again "dude, why???....." to which he replied "expanding a bit". My reply was "so hit someone else." his reply "have been all day. And don't tell me what to do". That comment I also ignored. That was last night and today I find 10 more turf capped. He has taken 14 turf from me in 4 days. Please help!
This problem is in Connecticut. I am a level 76 with almost 8,000 mob. He is a level 113 with 23,000+ mob. I need this to end. If you can/will help me please reply below if you will accept my V recruitment.
Thank you.

Pretty good post. You don't name the player but it is easy to identify him and spot that he capped most of his turf where you are in Connecticut.

This is an excellent post becuase I'm sure many people here have had at least one experience similar to this, either as the taker and/or the taken. Speaking from the point of view of the taker to those getting capped, Gear started off on the right foot by letting the first two turf "slide." Timing of his pm was smartly planned, but the content was a mistake.
"What's your problem?!"; "Stop capping me!"; "Attack someone else!"; and more often than not, "are you done capping me?!" are all flippant responses that make what was originally a turf-hop seem like a personal attack. Basically, you're escalating this conflict into a situation Gear faced when he lost 10 turf the next day. (to be continued...) -
(...continued from above)
Instead of making things personal, you want to do the opposite and defuse the situation. Write your first pm (and those that follow) in calm, complete sentences stating that you're sorry for provoking any attacks (even if you know you didn't) and then ask if the stronger player can ease up on the attacks for a few days while you recover. This is the most important step because now you've started a dialogue with the other player.
From here, keep the dialogue going by maybe letting the attacker in on some things you're planning. Another idea would be to turn the tables and ask the stronger player for advice, or even for help against another player that is capping you. Make him crush you with mercy!
Now, not only have you defused the situation, you've potentially won over a powerful ally that can help you the next time someone strolls into the neighborhood, capping turf. If you can stay cool under attack and keep your mouth (fingertips) in check, then you will thrive in this game. -
Nicely written bfong!

Thanks, guys. Hopefully this will keep at least a couple players out of trouble.

I'm in Conneticut and can try to diplomatically solve this if you're interested.

It's TheShocker. He caps turf from me too and I just try to ignore it. It's fucking annoying but I don't wanna get him pissed off

Good Job Guys 😺👍

Bfong ftw.
Also don't underestimate the effectiveness of tearing down your turf when someone is intent to cap. Move somewhere else instead of just being a sitting duck.
That is, if diplomacy ala bfong doesn't work.

Beautifully done bfong 👍
