Have you ever killed people's income instead of going to war with them directly?

That seems to me to be the only way to war in this game. If you want to thoroughly win a war, you have to bankrupt the other player.

I mean indirect war. Such as taking turfs under them and burning them..or burning all the turfs in an area to kill the income.

Lesson learned the hard way last year bro, Never and I mean NEVER burn income or you will have an entire city mobbing you till you want to quit. Not worth it ever!

Would be impossible to find it was you if you burned the turfs..also I think is is for the medium sized players that want to flush out the big guys from collecting protection. Hurting everyones income is partly the point.

Exactly. I've burned a few areas (including my own turfs) to hurt bullies from time to time. You just have to make sure you don't leave your turf standing.

Yep I've done that. But it's better to just share it with the person and become allies.
