Sometimes when I need a little cash I will fight someone. Why is it that sometimes I will win a fight against someone and then right after that fight them again and lose to that person?

You probably have similar attack/defense stats. There is a bit of randomness implemented into fighting people. It's best t have about 30% more mob than the person you're attacking.

There us a random factor in fight especially if your attack is close to being the same to their defense
