How are the battle calculations done? An AK-47 is only 3 attack/ 4 defense less than a minigun and costs 1/4 the initial price and 1/2 the maintence? Seems like 2 AKs should beat 1 minigun but it doesn't seem to work that way.

The battle calculations are not an exact science. It comes down to a couple of key things 1) total mob number and what weapon/armor each mob member is equipped with. 2) Attack and Defense skill numbers. I'm sure that there are other things involved but those two seem to be the biggest battle factors.

if u have 2 AKs for every 1 MG of someone else, wouldn't you probably need twice as many mob members??
Go for the miniguns when you can afford to get 1 for each person in your mob. If you don't have enough miniguns, supplement w/ AKs & replace them with mgs when u have the money.

BellaItaliana, that's exactly what I did and it worked like a champ. When you can afford it keep an equal number of minis and RPGs.

That will ensure that you have the highest possible attack and defense numbers. The game uses the highest rated weapon for attack and the highest rated weapon for defense.

When I was coming up and my mob totally outnumbered weapons to buy, I bought like 300 grenades because there's no upkeep, and every 50-100 miniguns/RPGs, I'd sell that many 'nades. I'm almost caught up now.

Not much of a reason to sell the grenades since they have no upkeep, unless you really need the money.

Ya but you won't be winning any fights with any real mobsters. Unless you out man them 3-1.
