An alliance is simply when two or more players with similar interests come to an agreement & work together towards a common goal.

Anyone can form an alliance. For instance I could form an alliance that was against posting invite codes in the wrong forum & when someone does, they get bashed. I could call it the Wrong Forum Alliance. Anyone who shared these same views could ask to be part of that alliance. Then when someone posts their code in the wrong place they are not bashed by me alone, they are bashed by everyone in the alliance.
