Another related questio- if u are close enough to a turf to destroy it- can u also capture it- if so, what's the point of destroying it? Sorry but I am a bit confused by vendettas

Pretty sure you can't capture turf in vendettas.

If you destroy them the money the turf cost to make is split between vendetta members depending on who is the strongest the amounts will vary. No you can't capture turf in a vendetta, and I'm pretty sure normal capture distances apply to vendettas.
