What use is the attack attribute under skills?

Under your skills list on your profile there is an attribute called attack, would spending my points on increasing this have any effect?

Not alot. It just literally adds one point to attack an def. so it's basically a shank. Spend your points on the other stats and you'll be way better off

Technically it's better than a shank in that it allows a mobster to carry another weapon AND a shank.

In other words, your RPG's and Miniguns will get a plus one to attack if you put enough skill points into attack.

No one would ever do this because it would take thousands of skill points (thus thousands of levels) for this change to affect your whole mob.

The point still stands: it's better than a shank but nowhere near worth the skill points. Spend them on stamina or energy instead...

actually there is a max of 110 to attack and defense also health isn't such a bad expendature either. And the point still stands it increases things no more than a mob member armed with a low level weapon

I had no idea about the 110 cap! Good thing I have been lucky enough not to waste too many points on it.

I agree that skill points allocated in this manner are practically useless.

As for health, it's not a terrible investment, I just feel like having more health allows for more attacks against me, which I'm not terribly fond of. I'd rather put my skill points into energy and stamina to help make leveling faster...I don't mind spending 40k a day to heal myself...
