About mob gap

Not sure if this should be here or general.
I was a big proponent of eliminating inactives from
the mob rolls. My thought was new players would never catch up to the vets.
I may have been wrong, in a sense.
The disadvantage exists more at smaller numbers.
Suppose you join the game, and everyone is 500 ahead of you.
You get 500. They hit 1000. You lose.
You hit 1000. They hit 1500. You dtill lose, but now you're winning some.
You hit 2000. They hit 2500. Now your winning more. Especially when you ae the defender.
Now you finally make 3000. But they're at 3500. You'll still have a bit of a challenge winning while attacking? But at this point, your coming out ahead in most fights when you are attacked.
Get it yet?
If not, then seek out the thread on the 30% rule for greater detail and clarification.

Other than most people don't really mob up so you still have tons of targets to hit. Just gotta mob up enough to be able to defend yourself. I do however see what your trying to say.
