Your inf/mob ratio is 5.6. You therefore deserve to be capped.I have never heard of this, but it makes sense: the lower the number, the better. Question-- what's "too high"? 2.5? 3? 4?

There was a thread about this I think from one thumb bastard

OTB at one point made it his goal to cap any mobsters that had puny mobs (1-3k) and influence that was at least three times over their mob. I find that to be a good rule of thumb when deciding if you need to mob up.

thanks very much

My goal is to stay 1:1 (gettin hard tho)
-
ok, right... here's the thing about that. I have about 2700 mob. I try to stay at or just below 2 million/hour income. in order to keep my mob armed as it grows (mini combo), I need an influence/mob ratio of right around 3. I don't know how all you 1 to 1 guys make money. if I let my ratio drop to 1 I'll be broke.
-
IDK... I'm now at 2.8, and 2 mil even for hourly income. not too shabby.
-
Have to place your turfs for the best income

With 90 turf u must be in the middle of nowhere ive spent hours micromangeing mine and have got 2m an hour get taxes

True that. when I hit 1800 mob or so, I decided to transition to "big boy" weapons. Still gradually upgrading to mini combo. In retrospect, I wish I had gone with Lapua rifles, although I'm grateful for the defense of the miniguns.

I've had to stop capo hunting,as my ever increasing mob grows I can't afford the weapon upkeep and have started putting turf in highly populated areas,I love capo hunting but it's not financially good

Plz exz my ignorance: what's the disadvantage to having lots of turf out in the middle of nowhere? Considering what you'd save on defense, I'd think it would be advantageous??
-
I noticed that you mentioned "saving" money on defense. I should point out that the prevailing wisdom in TW is that it's a waste of money to spend $ on defensive upgrades, because they take income away for little or no benefit. Don't bother with them, Mr Nowhere. If someone wants a turf bad enough, they're gonna take it.

You make very little money if there are no other players around. If you are by yourself, an 86 inf turf will make $9.8k. If you are around 10 different players in approximately a 3 turf diameter from your turf, you'll make $53.6k. (That's the amount assuming you aren't collecting protection money.)Plz exz my ignorance: what's the disadvantage to having lots of turf out in the middle of nowhere? As MK Ultra already said, don't buy defensive upgrades for your turf.
