It wont let me capture this turf and everything has a green checkmark but one that says im to far but my turf is literaly right beside it and yes its been there for over 24 hrs

It's because the other player's influence is so low (& they are under level 50) that it's not possible to get close enough to cap them - even if you are covering their turf. It's a way of protecting newer players.
