Why am I losing turfs to a player with 15,000 less attackpoints than my defensepoints?

Did you run the numbers correctly? Remember you must now take into account "regular" weapons, melee weapons, & armor. Is he attacking you or your turf? How many times did he attack & how many did you lose? Who is the player?

And he could be using armor piercing rounds adding 10% to his attack.

I used http://phoque.it/stats/ to calculate his attackvalue.
He is attacking my turfs and is able to capture them after about 13 loses and 2 wins.
Even with 10% extra to his attack he's a couple thousand short.
The players name is Cloudflyer.

There's also a random factor built into the fight system. If someone is close but below in stats, they will eventually win a fight. The closer the figures, the more likely it is to happen. I've been told by a mobster that they had to hit another players turf more than 15 times before winning one.

Your weapon layout is a bit random. I would suggest having the full compliment of Lapuas, not ak's miniguns and Lapuas. Dump the tommys for the time being to free up money if you need to. It could make the difference as your opponent is already losing most fights.
