What does it mean when someone says bump? Can u edit someone else's thread or are you offering someone a bump aka a rail aka sha-nene

Bump is pushing a thread to the top of the forum. BUMP=Bump Up My Post.

'Bump' simply means that the person wants the particular thread to go back to the top of the page. All threads appear in the order of most recently commented on.
