Before posting your questions, please read through the entire thread. Not all loot was added at the same time, and new loot continues to be added. We are unable to edit our posts to include the new loot at the beginning, but the information will be added to this thread as warranted.
For more detailed information on all loot, please read the wiki:
http://turfwarswiki.com/index.php/LootTo have access to loot: download the Turf Wars Loot App from the app store. Once you have downloaded it and opened it once, you can delete it.
**You can only get loot from doing certain missions or buying crates from The Don. The loot missions say CHANCE OF LOOT on them. (Turf upgrades & police maps can also be capped if you cap a turf they are on.) Noobs can also get it by completing tutorial objectives. While you can sell your loot, you can NOT buy loot! -
For use on YOURSELF:
Cannoli: Refills your energy.
Medkit: Refills your health.
Espresso Shot: Refills your stamina.
To use the Cannoli, Medkit, or Shot, go to your profile & click "Use Item."For use on OTHERS (distance doesn't matter):
Cement Shoes: Puts enemy in the ER.
Severed Horse Head: reduces enemy's current stamina by 80% ± a small random factor. They are cumulative (use 2 & you'll reduce their stamina by 96%).
To use the Cement Shoes or Horse Head, go to your enemy's profile & click "Use Item."
Car Bomb: Destroys 2-7 turf upgrades (# & type of upgrades is random. It is possible (not guaranteed) for car bombs to destroy loot. Car bombs will also lower a random amount of the turf's health. Note: You cannot cap a turf with car bombs alone. You must win at least the last "regular" fight to cap. To use, go to your enemy's turf & click "Use Item." There's a random 10% chance of being notified who car bombed you. -
Title Deed: Allows you to rename a turf you control (either from creating or capping it). To use, click on the turf you want to rename, select "Use Item," click on "Title Deed." Each deed can only be used 1 time.
Police Map: Increases the build radius ONLY (not cap radius or the amount of $) of your turf. Each map can only be used once, however, you can use multiple maps on 1 turf. It takes 2-5 maps to get the maximum effect. (The amount of the effect is random.) To use, go to the turf you want to use it on, click "Use Item," select Police Map.
Once you use a map on a turf, the effect remains until you build another turf in the build radius of that turf or until you tear the turf down. If the turf is capped before you have built a new turf, the capturer will have the benefit of the map.
**Note: you cannot unequip a map from a turf; there is no "undo" feature. -
Turf Upgrades make lower inf turf pay protection.
1) Bagman: 1 inf each, can equip up to 3 per turf (unlocked at level 4).
2) Liquor License (LL): 7 inf each, can equip 1 per turf
3) Distribution Center (DC): 12 inf each, can equip 1 per turf
4) Union Boss (UB): 16 inf each, can equip 1 per turf (unlocked at level 30).Thus, you can equip 1 UB, 1 DC, 1 LL, & 3 Bagmen on 1 turf for a max influence of 124.
If you cap a turf with one or more looted upgrades on it, the loot becomes yours. You can move them from turf to turf. Go to turf upgrades to equip (or unequip) them. There isn't a limit to how many you can own.
Important notes:
If you are tearing down a turf with any looted upgrades on it, you must unequip the loot first or you will lose it!
You cannot equip or unequip a UB (not sure about others) until you are level 30!
Loot upgrades will extend your build radius, but NOT your cap radius. -
Henchmen: (computer generated mob members) can be looted too. If you are already at limit (75% of your real mob) then you'll get a different item from the rare class. They are used automatically (no need to equip). They don't count for the mob leader board. Your total is listed separately under the "Your Mob" tab.
Toolbox: Gives double loot for missions & loot crates. To use, go to your profile, click "Manage Your Inventory," click on Toolbox, then click "Save Changes." Once equipped, it will stay equipped until you receive your first loot (either from a mission or a crate). It is a one use item. You can equip up to 3 at once, but the effects are NOT cumulative.
Armor Piercing Ammo: adds 10% to your attack. You must equip them first. Even if you equip all 3 slots, you will only use 1 round at a time. Each round is 1 use only. To use, go to your profile, click "Manage Your Inventory," click on the rounds, then click "Save Changes."

Weapons & Armor (none have upkeep)
Weapons (Reg) Attack/Defense:
Sawed-off Shotgun 13/14
Glock 14/10
AR-15 30/14 (unlock at level 40)Weapons (Melee) Attack/Defense:
Garrote 3/1
Brass Knuckles 3/2
German Stiletto Knife 7/3
Chainsaw 10/5
Machete 12/4Armor:
Riot Shield 3/6
Kevlar-lined Suit 4/23It's possible to loot weapons & armor that can be bought in the market. If you are under the level in which they are unlocked, you can't use or sell them yet, but will still have to pay upkeep on them.
Loot weapons & armor are used in place of your other weapons & armor (if they have better stats), NOT in addition to your regular weapons & armor. So, if you have 100 mob, you will only use 100 regular weapons, 100 melee weapons, & 100 armor.
See Night's thread to learn which missions yield which loot.

Tools The following items are tools, not loot; they are required for certain missions: Crowbar, Timeshare Sales Kit, Car Jimmy, Lock Picking Set, C4 Explosives, Fake Bonds, and Friend at Goldman Sachs.
They have no other use except to allow you to do missions. However, a Friend at Goldman Sachs gives you 10 influence. Fake Bonds are worth 2 influence each (you can have up to 3).

You can have a tunnel on multiple turf, if you have more than one?

Yes, it's 1 per turf so you could use, for example, 10 tunnels on 10 different turf.Mystery wrote:

Wait so I got the loot app, now what happens? Why did I get this? I know I have to delete it now, so what was the point?

So, my app store doesn't find the loot app. Is this requirement now defunct?

Some looted turf upgrades can be equipped before you reach the required level: 1. Go to your profile 2. Select "manage inventory" 3. Using the drop down menu, select the inventory fo the turf you want to use the loot on. 4. The loot should now appear below in your inventory as an unequipped item. 5. Select the desired item to equip it and click on "save." 6. The looted item will DISAPEAR from your inventory and WILL NOT APPEAR under equipped upgrades for that turf BUT it will still have it's effect on the turf's stats. The system knows it's there and it is equipped but it will not show up in your inventory again until you reach the level normally required to equip the loot. NOTE: you will not be able to un-equip or move loot to another turf until you reach the required level. Now that I've spilled the beans they may fix this, but hopefully they won't. It's a helpful little edge for beginning players.
-
@Mr. Nowhere - this was a glitch that had been fixed but has returned. It's not really "an edge" though. If a player that can cap them shows up, they can't remove their loot upgrade to save it. The player that caps the turf gets it & if they are a high enough level, can remove it. It also means you can't forget about it & tear the turf down or you'll lose it.

Glitch: the fact that you are able to equip a looted upgrade at a level before you are able to unequip them. This is an old glitch that had been fixed, but has now returned.

is there any difference in value of loot that can be obtained from burglary, taking out rival and cracking a bank safe? i mean, does bank safe, needing more E to complete give up more chances of loot and better loot?

@ Mystery: good point. I had to find that out the hard way. I lost a whole set of rare looted turf upgrades when another player capped and stripped my turf. I got the turf back but not the upgrades. Now I have pulled back a lot of my turf upgrades to save them for special situations. It's nice to have a few surprises up my sleeve for anyone who decides to build on top of me.
