So... What's the point of the friend at Goldman Sachs? I don't see a mission where it's required...

it's called the bank bailout mission

You need it for securities fraud too, for the higher levels at least. Totally worth having (but wait until the missions are available to you.)

Friend at G/S is also gives you 20 influence. Fake bonds give you 4 influence for each one.

I'm level 70 and I don't see it. I can do both amatuer security fraud and bank bailout but they don't require friend at G/S. maybe there's an issue with my mission list?

You need to het the missions to pro or elite.

I know...me either. I had to go buy the remaining 8 fake bonds to fully max out my influence.
