Last week I was attacking a neighbor and was close to taking over his territory then I started losing and it said he had don protection. I see where you can get police protection but what about don?

Don protection comes in when someone is being attacked at a much lower level. It's possible influence or mob size is also taken into account. It's to protect new or smaller players.

I found that one out the hard way.

I was lvl 18, 200+ influence, 170+ mob. i picked a level 1, 1 inf, 1 mob guy cause I just need a little less than a grand to buy another storefront.

The Don protected the little guy and gave him over $9000 of my hard earned cash.

What classifies as little ones? When is it safe to attack a weaker mobster?
