Mobcode.org
With the best approach by far mobcode collects codes from the forums and invitecodematrix, as well as users making it an all in one solution. If you don't want to go to multiple sites then go here because they do that for you.
Because users can flag invalid codes they also have a descent percentage of good codes.
Pros: They track what codes you've entered. They're turfwars only. They provide other features like a stats calculator for turfwars players. It's run and created by one of the players here, support your local mobster.
Cons: You can only see 10 codes at a time, which is a minor con if at all. You can't go back through the codes unless you go all the way back to the beginning so if you reload the page by accident or hit the more button before you meant to you'll lose those codes.
-
Invitecodematrix.com
A decent approach, they get lots of codes by encouraging users to post them through giving them a top slots for their own code.
Also has a descent percentage of valid codes for the same reason as mobcode.org.
Pros: You can track what codes you've entered and go back through that list if you want.
Cons: It's slow, cluttered with ads and many of the features only sort of work.
-
Turfwarsapp.com/forum
The forums have the most codes but they also have a frustrating high number of invalid codes. About 40% of the codes in the forums are invalid on a given day. It's closer to 60% if you take all the codes from the beginning of the forums.
Pros: Lots and lots of codes. You can cut and paste from with in the turfwars app.
Cons: Lots and lots of invalid codes. No code tracking.
-
Ifriendcode.com
The only positive thing about ifreindcode is it's high percentage of valid codes.
Pros: High percentage of valid codes.
Cons: Not very many codes. Annoying interface. Can't back up if you refresh by accident or hit next by accident.
-
Ccdb.psyomnius.com
This one is new so I can't say to much about it. Right now they have some data issues with codes having a 5 digit number trailing the actual code. After remove the weird 5 digit numbers to sanitize their codes and comparing the codes with the other sites they had 20 new unique and valid codes.
Pros: 20 new codes, I guess.
Cons: Obviously still under development. Data issues. No code tracking.
-
Turfwarscodes.com
This site has 0 codes the other sites don't include and it's an unpleasant interface. I suspect the list on this site is from the often overvalued coalition list as it also seems to exclude the codes of players on the top mobster list. Either way some well known codes are mysteriously missing.
Pros: none
Cons: Old codes, invalid codes, poor interface

Turfwars.info
This site is down but people still mention it. It had the exact same list as turfwarscodes.com.
Pros: It's down.
Cons: See turfwarscodes.com.

great help thankyou. i use mobcodes and i have to say it is the best one out of all the sites ive looked at. also is a professional looking site compared with some of the lower sites on your list.

That was cool of u to go through the trouble of breaking it down. 👍 Man

I like mobcodes 10 per page, makes it easier to read each code. I don't have to be close to my monitor, I can lean back and punch 'em in.
-
Thx for the review :) added a back button to the codes page so you can flip back a couple pages of codes, it works ok, not great, but ok.

Nice review!

Good work Nixon and Kiva 👏

Nice work, Nix. I haven't used a code site since the beginning when I used invitecodematrix for about 3-4 pages & couldn't take it anymore. But, it's good to know where to go if I ever go that route again. Thanks a lot.

oh wow ty nixon, very helpful and informative. in response to your post on ccdb, we are currently ~50% through sanitizing the initial ~3,300 codes having removed a few hundred while adding roughly double what was removed (we are going to post the new list in a couple days whic will reflect this). in the works : flagging for bad codes. if anything else you guys would like gets to my attention it will likely be included and the suggesting players code promoted. btw, nixon, your code has been promoted up top. ty again for the review.

Keep the date code was added. Also very helpful

I think u need to redo review of the ccdb database site!

Addendum: Regarding the ccdb site, 0mnïus has been making large improvements to it. It has many more unique codes of late, about 150, and the codes are of good quality.
Pros: Now includes code tracking and code validation. 150 or so unique codes. Both are great features. And just like mobcode.org it's made by turfwars players, support your local mobsters.

I'm not sure. The design is okay but I'm not sold on it. I don't really use site features for any of the codes sites though, since I just crawl them and have my own code site I use. I think I might move them as high as #2 in my estimation.
