Cops?

Maybe I'm missing something. But how exactly do cops work?

Under my turf it says I'm losing 150k due to cops. Is there any way to get that back? And how is that total decided?

Also. I bought global police protection for what looks like $0. And protection in two cities would cost me $1m. What are the advantages of each?

If your capo of a city, protection us free. Otherwise it's totally worth buying it for each city on the missions page. For me it cost about an hours worth of income for a weeks worth of protection.

I believe the cops take about 50%.

So on the "my turf" page, under cops, would that total disapear? Or is that what they've taken so far?

Oh, so apparently the "protection for a week" button takes away 5 respect points. That woulda been nice to know.
Now I'm short exactly 5 points to increase my turf limit.
