Capturing Turfs base on GPS location

Are you still able to capture turfs if your GPS location is right over the turf? Considering the new turf capture checklist, I'm wondering if its sill possible. I'm thinking it would say that your closest turf is too far.

I'm pretty sure you were ever able to capture based on your GPS location, only the location of your turf.

I recall seeing it onthe help section and being able to do so. That was before they patched in the capture checklist. Hmmmm
