Now for strategy.
-Vendettas (V) can target 3 people max and these targets can't be changed.
-You'll be the first target for obvious reasons, now what you want to do is have someone else that has turf near THEIR turfs that can capture.
-Once you join a V you have a -30% defensive penalty. Due to this if you have the same size mob you can now WIN with a very high success rate vs. someone in the V.
-If they are smart they will see the attacks then target this attacker to their V
-Find a 2nd player to again take advantage of this.
-Again if they are smart they will add this person to the V.
-Now their V is full of targets that are locked in for a full week.

-Finally with a 3rd player with the same abilities as the first 2 they will have free reign on all of those in the V targeting you.

By following these steps you will minimize damage, not lose turfs and actually turn the V against those that formed it against you.

When deleting/editing this got left out:
-First reduce your turfs in danger of being captured to 1inf to avoid capture/being tore down.

Yep I did this the first day vendettas came out. Survived 4 separate vendettas not a turf lost. Easy

Or u can do what I do and scare away attackers helpers. Then crush them with no remorse :)

If this is realy going to be changed, it should be for capturing as well, there is no difference betwen the two. Otherwise there will never be any point in attacking anyone. Because vendetta would basically become a death sentence button.
Reducing your turfs to 1 takes time and money and means the player can't attack, it's not like it's an easy way out, just a way out.
