I am paying out a lot of money for upkeep but have no idea what it is. I am not paying the police and have no defenses so what is it???

It's for your weapons. body ammor is 100 a cycle per armor for example.

This is for something else only half of my turfs are paying upkeep.

You buy defensive upgrades? If so that would do it.

Could also be protection if your bases are near a stronger player

I just had my income cut on my turfs and have no idea from what. Where does it show if u are paying anything else besides upkeep and police protecion? Anyone have any ideas why my income has gotten cut?

It's probably police protection. Go to the mission screen to buy protection. It'll tell you there if you can police protection. If you can, then buy it. It could nearly double your income.

If your income us just cut but your not paying protection then probably a player left the area or something change and the area your turf is in isn't as valuable.

I think your second sugestion might be it pres. I just bought police protection and usually keep them off my back bit my income still got cut in half. I was curious if that was a possibility but wasn't sure. Well that sux bad bc I lost alot of money. I live in Houston too so I'm not too far from other turfs. I know there was a new guy that started building next to all of my turfs and I just noticed it was gone around the same time mu income got cut, but he/she was still new. Don't undertand it much. What so u suggest I do?

I think it's a bug. Police protection is shown as upkeep sometimes. (on the turf detail page, I think)
