Best way to protect your turf?

The guy nearest me just got all his turf taken over by another player, and I suspect I'm next. What are the best things I can do to protect my turf? I'm only at level 14. Thanks!

Lower your overall influence to less then 10% of theirs, lower your turfs influence to 1 or increase your mob so he can't beat you. Your level does mean anything when it comes to attackng it defending, only your mob count.

LOL you're talking about me Molly :) he (butters) didn't take all my turf I sold most of it and rebuilding in another loc
