A bunch of people have been continuously capturing my turf and it's getting extremely annoying so I was wondering if there was a way to prevent this. Maybe adding defenses to it or something. Please leave suggestions or ideas.

Build your mob. Defensive upgrades won't help.

If you are in or by that new school that just opened there, build out of capping range of those guys! You should also talk to Atla. Otherwise mob up & make sure you have 1 weapon & 1 piece of armor for each mob member.
