Is there anyway of zooming out a bit on the map?

Yeah, "pinch" the map. (put 2 fingers on the map & drag them closer together)

I find it better to use the tap feature to zoom in and out.

👇Double tap with one finger to zoom in

✌Single tap with two fingers to zoom out.

I mean I know the zoom in, but I'd never heard the zoom out one
