Question on Protection Money

I have a few turfs with influence of 84 that encompass smaller turfs by opponents but do not pay me any protection money. The one element they have in common is that I am not the capo of the area, thus they have a total influence from more smaller areas than I do from my lesser but bigger influence areas. I could swear that has not been the case on other occasions.

So I suppose I'm wanting to know if you need to be a capo of an area to extract protection money.

Actually let me backtrack, of the 2 turfs in question I am capo in one of them. I am close enough where at least half of their 49 or so size area is covered by mine.

The other I am not capo but my 84 area covers a decent part of 4 of their smaller turfs. No protection from either of these.

One other thing, both are quite new additions so is there a time threshold they have to exist before protection starts registering ?

No time threshold and you do not need to be capo.

I've seen it take up to 15 minutes for protection to kick in and as littles as a couple of minutes. It seems to be much faster now.

Actually yes, I have seen this on previous turfs. Hmm, still no idea why I am not getting this money on certain locations then.

Does the opposition have to have above a certain influence before they pay Protection maybe ?

Even a 1 inf. turf will pay protection. What are the turfs in question?

I'm having the same problem... It used to work fine... Did they change smth?

Some example turfs are JC Chobham 1, JC Ottershaw 3 and JC West End

chobham shoud be coolecting. Ottershaw should be collecting from two turfs. Westend shoudbe colecting from art least one, but ossiny three.

If it hasn't resoved iir self by now you should post this in the Technical Issues forum as "not coleecting protectiononey".

I have exactly the same issue on one of my turfs...have a look it's the one called 'sweet smoke'...

There definitely seems to be an issue. Plese post in the Tech forum. The debs are more ikely to read it there.
