Some wise guy attacked me today, when I tried to attack him back the game said I was to far away. Si if he can attack me why cannot I attack him

If he Is over 1000 miles away but has turf within 1000 miles from you he can attack you. You won't be able to attack him, but you can attack that turf.

Look through his turf list to see.

It's sad that this change was made, having attacking tied to device distance was a stabilizer. Now distance travelers have a greatly expanded attack pool.
