Since you never receive a message when you are the target of a vendetta, it is very possible to miss the 24h period and get attacked without warning. So is the only way to know you just became the target of a V is to look at your profile?

You do get a message. I got one the second the guy started it. In the meanwhile he was inviting people I tore him up.

Check your push notifications. See how they are set. Go to your News tab to manage them, and make sure they are turned on in settings.

In the push notification, I have 3 settings that are using "App Badge" instead of "Message". It is "assisted attack", "assisted defense" and "activated alliance". I guess the later was the reason why I wasn't receiving the message. I turn all of them on "message", now I just need someone to target me in a V to find out if it works...Thx guys.
