cowe has 5556 influence. he has 66 maxed out turfs. 66 * 84 = 5545. whats the 12 influence difference fron?

Same here. I've been trying to take dc. The person already there had 23 turf, same as me. We were both maxed out at 1849.
One day I looked and he had 1865, with the same number turf. What's up?

Everyone seems to have some extra influence. I couldn't figure out anything in common between players though. Some had 2 extra, some 9, some 12.

It's not related to capo, city, # of turfs total or level. There's a player in SF with no turfs and 2 influence. It's weird.

Some tools in the market also have influence, goldman sachs and fake bonds for sure. By selling them I lowered my influence.

So, answer: Influence comes from more then turf. Some items in the market also give you influence.
