Creating turf past your limit
Forums › Help & Strategy › Creating turf past your limit-
I see there is this one guy who has over 50 turfs. But yet he is still laying turf down. As of yesterday. How?
-
You can increase your turf limit... But it'll cost ya! Have to visit the don and pay respect points. Or start capping!
-
Sone players have a limit of over 1,000
-
How much turf can you own without having to pay?

Thanks, not to many then. Not sure what to make of that, havent quiet figured out the dynamics of the game. Once you dominate an area, without paying for more turf is the challenge to move into a much more rewarding turf? .. Newb thinking out loud.. Sorry

But over the course of 100 levels you will only be awarded 35 turf. You will also earn an average of 200 respect points over the course of 100 levels which you can also use for turf w/o spending real money.

What to make of it is that it's a free game, and you get what you pay for. But the devs need yo pull income from somewhere to fund development, updates, servers, data usage, etc...
-
Oh, I have no problem with the devs charging strategy. I just plan on becoming a good player. I've only been about a couple of days, lot to absorb for such a seemingly small game. When you capture a turf, would I be right in saying it doesn't raise the total amount of turfs you can build? Just adds one you shouldn't have?

Correct. You gain turf over your limit. You won't be allowed to place new turf until you are back under limit.Oh, I have no problem with the devs charging strategy. Thanks, except for my missing union boss think I know what I'm doing now :s
-
remember to punch codes!
-
Best bet if you want to remain a free player is patience....keep building ur income, build ur mob, build ur weapons/armour. Once you think u are big enough to compete rip down a few of ur turf and plant them in a bigger city then increase ur turf via capping and use the income to become even bigger.
Plan ur strategy on where u want to be and make sure u are big enough to defend urself before moving there.
Thats how i played free for ages but i got greedy and eventually paid for some turf limit increase lol. -
Turf limit is defninitely the limit of the game itself. I don t see how to keep playing without spending a fortune to grow my turf limit. This is a serious game weakness I think. Spending money is fine but not hundred euros for that.

Does capping increase your limit? like if I can build 26 turfs then I cap and tear it down is my new limit 27?
-
Capping does NOT increase limit.
-
It is weak beeing stuck because of turf limit. Very weak. I could by don points but the cost is ridiculously high! We should be able to place more turfs.
-
Don't worry about strat or tl. This game is only about mob size, nothing else. Punch 15,000 codes and you'll be a big dog...that is the only way. Or buy henchmen, but punching codes is much cheaper
-
Yes of course I agree but big mob team does not help to grow if you are stuck in a city with nothing to cap. Without turf you can t progress anymore.
They should consider changing the rules with regards of turf limit. -
How much do you increase the turf limit when you pay 12 godfather points?
-
Only one
-
Turf limit is fine. You have to work around it. keep in mind this is a free game, but has a lot of overhead associated with it. Bandwith, dev team, development...
It does suck to be stuck in a rural area. I have the LEAST amount of turf in the place I live, because I am only ofe of three actve players on the entire island. And the other two are a fraction of what I am. I could dump 11k mob and still trample all over each of them.
Go somewhere. hop somewhere.
The game is what it is.
There are many players out there that are hundreds and hundreds over their turf limit, yet they keep going. Cupcake for ex. is about 3000 turf over limit.
Make the best of what you have.
-
What is true for you or cupcake is maybe not the same for others. It depends where you leave.
-
Turf limit IS too small now. It was ok, and a few months ago would have agreed with Charlie but as mob gets higher and higher 35 turf limit is too low
-
You cannot sustain and equip a decent mob with low income. Some of thr biggest players in my area pay pretty much monthly for don points to equip their 6k+ mob. I'm fairly rural and have already spent $45 on Don points since I started 4 months ago. I know I'll probably spend more. It's still cheaper than going to the movies or out to dinner :P
