Does it help if u have more weapons than mobsters with you?
Is there a point when to many weapons just don't make a difference?

The only point to your mob is to use those weapons. Each member of your mob can carry 1 weapon and use 1 armor. they'll use the weapons with more attack first, when you attack, and the weapons with more defense first when you attack.

Many people have 1 rpg (highest attack), 1 minigun (highest defense) and 1 armor for each mob member so they can have maximum attack and defense. But there's no reason to have more of any 1 weapon then you have mob.
