What are the benefits of capturing a turf compard to getting protection money

You will definately make more money off of it, and it will raise your influence. However, the more players in an area, the more each turf will make you per hour. So you don't want to completely cap someone out of your area unless there are a lot of different players there already

Check out The Most Frequently Asked Questions thread. It should be near the top of this forum. It is called hopping or leapfrogging. It will tell you how to move to another area.

Also, the number of turfs doesn't matter for income, it is how many different players have turf in that area.
