Check their exp, if the first number is quite a bit higher than the second it's a good chance they are inactive. Also look at when their last turf was placed, if it was months ago there's a good chance they are inactive. Look at their comments, if it's been a while since anyone posted there's a good chance they're inactive. If all three apply and you want to really make sure, send a PM asking.

I check all of the above & I'll also leave a turf planted near them for 10 days and if they don't pull the Union Boss off or arm/mob up then I'll cap 'em.

A good indecation is how much $$ they have.
A small player with say under 100 turf but has $2billion has obviously been inactive for awhile.
Wont always work but is another good check to do before starting a fight if you are worried about upsetting people.

Someone told me once that if
U search their name and they been inactive for awhile they won't show up in the search, but I use the methods mentioned above
