I'm about to make my first turf capture and I was wondering how many turfs Can I take from one person?

It depends on the person you are capturing.

I'm bored on xmas eve and reading through the help and strategy forum to pick up some useful info. I see a lot of posts/replies from chainsawcharlie that are usually spot on and helpful. Then I come across this one...lol Depends on what? If they're blonde or brunette? Short or tall?

There is some limit, I've seen vague references on the forums about it and it's listed in the capture check list. However, the only limits I have encountered so far are geographical and influence based. I have capped over 20 turfs from single players with no problems. I've also capped guys down to an influence that they fell below 10% of mine (That's a hard limit.) I talked to one of the bigger players and he told me about capping 80 turfs from another player (I assumed it was within a single day). Unless you are planning something more than just capping one guy's turf, just keep capping until you can't anymore, don't worry about limits.

Heh. I was probably bored when i answered this one.

Relative Level and turf count/influence play a factor.

I hit limit on someone at three turfs, while someone else hit limit on the same player at around 20.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure, but it seems like cap limit maces at around 40% of their level.

This doesn't mean you will get that though, as other factors may diminish it.

And it will change from player to player.

I doubt anyone capped 80 turf from one player in a 24 hour period.

I went against another. We were both lvl 90s, both around 8k mob and both with an over 500 turf limit. But we both hit limit on each other at 39.

Belial says Godfathers can cap 50 off each other, but I haunt had the opportunity to test that yet, and I hope to god that belial doesn't decide to use me as a test subject.

Thanks for that info, I assumed the 80 caps fell within a day, but was not specifically told the time period.

Cap limit is just a 24 hour period. Given enough time, you can cap thousands from a single player.
