I Have the most influence in my city and the game recognizes my city has as city but it won’t give me capo? Why?

I have a similar question. I am trying to become capo in a tiny town and it is recognizing my turfs as being in another town… Even though they are right beside the ones of the current capo.

Geocoder updates over the years may have changed which Turf Wars city that location maps to after that turf was built. The old turf didn’t change cities when that happened. The only way you can become Capo of that town is to capture those old turf.

Thanks for the reply Yoshi. Seems like their influence is too low and I can’t even take over their turf.

You can also still make brand new turfs assigned to your city even if the city bounds have moved. All you gotta do is click to place a turf all around the area, & before you confirm it, see what city is listed after the road name.
Like for me, I have some turfs technically in this city Hubert, and all the old random turfs around mine are registered as being inside Hubert, but mine are registered to the county. But I found out I can still make new turfs registered to Hubert after I clicked around a lot and found out Hubert’s city limits were moved like 2 miles north of Hubert on the map. So u could try finding the new city limits of the city in question and placing new turfs there👍🏻
