Loot from missions question

Is there a max amount of loot you can get from running missions per day? When the double loot stated, my first few missions were lucky and got me quite a few things, but now I'm not getting anything. Was I just lucky with that first run or is there a silent cap on loot per day?

I think the only loot to ever be capped was brens or still is?
