Not sure how this happened, yesterday I was paying the cops nothing for each of my turfs. Today I'm paying them almost half my hourly income. Why is this???

First of all your not a capo, capos don't pay for protection for that certain city, you can also go to the missions screen and buy police protection with money or to the don and pay with don points
