Vendetta not working

Anyone know why the turfs I attack that belong to the subject of the vendetta only get knocked out of commission and nit destroyed ??

How old is the vendetta, and did you read the vendetta help?

And check the capture checklist. Same rules apply to destroy as to capture.

Read all the help and thought I understood it all
From what u say though the capture rules all apply with a V. so I guess that is my problem as the turf I am hitting is 2.6 miles to the south of me!! Is that right ? Kind of sucks

The checklist will tell you if it's close enough or not.

Ok just had a look at all the help on V and as far as I can see there is nothing about having to be near a turf that u are attacking!! So just be careful as it does seem to be the case that distance is an issue. Even 2.6 miles is to far

A vendetta doesn't increase your capture range. You still have to follow the capture checklist for each turf.

I guess that's one of those "implied" rules. Since it mentions in the Turf section under vendettas that they don't capture, they instead sell off all upgrades, the assumption would be that Vendettas follow capture rules.

It could be made a little more clear, though.
